“13 Sutras on Go” is out now.

Inspired by the “13 Sutras on Go” 《棋經十三篇》 written by Zhang Ni (張擬) from the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), the album’s lyrics are based on the Go Sutra’s philosophical yet catchy text. With some alterations, the album reinterprets this classic Go Sutras from 1000 years ago, using modern Go elements such as the sound of Go stones, the voice of counting down in official games, and audio quotes from the Japanese Go Seigen (吳清源), the Chinese Go Saint Nie Weiping (聶衛平), and the 21st century's top human player Lee Sedol (李世乭).

專輯改編自北宋(960-1127)張擬所著《棋經十三篇》，共十三首，配以音律，念誦棋書，輔以落子聲，讀秒倒數聲，在線對局聲，棋戰背景聲等，並採樣日本昭和棋聖吳清源，中國棋聖聶衛平，以及2016年與人工智能AlphaGo對局的圍棋世界冠軍李世乭的原聲，重新演繹了一千年前的棋書經典。
